In 1999, he was already receiving blessings from his work for God, receiving The Airplay International Achievement of Merit Award for Christian Music, that same year he was privileged to put out his first radio single, Wishes that stayed on the ICMA, CGMG, the CMI ,.ICMA Germany , and the ECCM charts from September 1999 until August of 2000. This inspired Jim and helped him tremendously to catapult his ministry. In 1999, Jim's project, "Still Holding On" was recorded and opened doors to Missouri, Kentucky, Georgia, Alabama, Tennessee, Ohio ,West Virginia,Oklahoma, and Mississippi.

1999 brought great success to Jim as he received nomination from the CGMA for Shepherd of the year, Male Vocalist of the year, Entertainer of the year and Songwriter of the year. In 2000 Jim Won the Horizon Award for the ICMA Germany .In 2001 Jim came to Old Town Maine and became the Asst. Director of Crossroads Ministries., Crossroads is a place that helps hurting people with food shelter ,utilities , and whatever the spiritual or physical needs may be. Crossroads Ministries was founded by Brenda Davis in 1993 and Jim is Proud to be a part of such a great organization. Jim is also proud to be promoted by RhonBob Promotions and with WHP comps.

His ministry, now known as "Revival Fires Ministries" is about seeing Souls Saved, Healed and Delivered as Bro. Jim is an Evangelist. His daughters, Jamie, and Jennifer, are both married and live in Mississippi with his grandchildren.
