Fall is here. Time for lots of Corn on the cob and squash, And dont forget Pumpkins. We are very grateful for the donations we have been getting from the local farmer's and farmer's markets. Its always a blessing to get fresh vegetables in. Even though its only fall we are starting to get into the mode of preparing for Thanksgiving and Christmas. We have recently sent out our latest newsletter with important information on when we will be accepting applications for our Thanksgiving baskets and our Christmas toys. If you would like a newsletter please feel free to contact us and i would gladly mail you out one.

The things we do on a daily basis consist of providing food for those who are need. We are a food pantry and we are open from 10:30 a.m.  to 3:00 p.m. Monday thru friday. We are closed the 4th monday of every month. We have been blessed to be able to offer our clients with a variety of foods. When you come in and fill out an application you will be walked through by one of our many volunteers. You are able to pick out what items you would like to have. Some items that we have everyday are bread, meat, potatoes, cereal. These items are subject to change due to demands. We do our best to keep our shelves stocked with food. If you are in need of food and live in any of these areas please feel free to stop by and fill out our application. You will need to provide proof of i.d. as well as proof of everyone who lives with you.

We also have a thrift store down stairs that is also open the same hours as our food pantry. Our thrift store is run by Leslie Murphy and all of our items are things that our neighbore have donated to us. We have things that range from clothing to house hold items and we even from time to time get in furniture. There is always something new everyday. If there are items that you are in desperate need of and we dont carry it we also have a voucher program through salvation army that can assist you as well. If you are in need of anything stop by and take a look or if your looking to donate stuff feel free to stop by as well or call us.

We can also help with electricity, If you are unemployed and you have a disconnect notice give us a call and we can assist you.

Most of our items from food to items in our thrift store are accumulated through donations. If you would like to donate to this organization you can find all of our information on our contacts page. You can also click on the link below. Thank you and God Bless.

Crossroads takes Desktop Computers!

Don't throw that old computer away, we at Crossroads can turn these old PCs into working units for those that can't afford one, and re-sell PC hardware, where the proceeds go directly back into services for the communities. Call to donate or have us pick up.

101 ways to help people in need by: Steve Sjorgren

I had the pleasure of reading this book last evening and I thought I would pass it along as i feel that others will most assuredly enjoy it. If you are like many Christians, you are so busy with day to day living that you may become unaware of the needs of those around you. In fact, you might be puzzled about how to help those who lack. Yet it's not nearly as hard as you might think. Just take a glance at your own community. There are people around you, if you only stop to look. These needs cry out to be met, and God's word say's that to meet them is "Pure and falutless" religion. In
101 Ways to Help The Needy. Steve and Janie Sjorgen will show you....... Staff Writer Maria R. Dorso.
